chapter 20 of Shoukoku no Altair
I literally cannot get enough of this manga. Incredible attention to detail, especially with clothing and architecture (Arab architecture!!!11!11), hefty amounts of plot, subtle touches that let the reader interpret a good amount of the politics instead of being force-fed information all the time yes. Good. I wish I had physical copies so I could stare all day.
OH MY GOD A BASKETBALL ANIME I NEED TO WATCH THIS ASJDGASJ
OH MY GOD YOU NEED TO. It’s no Slam Dunk, but it’s so deliciously campy and I love everyone so much and it makes me wail every time.
Clawing at my face irl because my inner fujoshi is secretly dying with emotions
awesome! :DD Slam Dunk holds a very very special place in my heart for a lot of reasons, but I won’t compare the two ;) And I love campy. Campy is good 8DDv
(I hope there is some epic rivalry in it, though, it’s my favourite aspect of every sport manga 8D)
Yes, yes it does have epic rivalry! Especially when the main character’s old team comes into play, and then the show becomes a veritable shitstorm of parallels and simmering man!angst and power plays. Of the good kind, of course.

Takano Ichigo’s new series “orange” started today.
This is shaping up to be an A+ shoujo.
I just started - literally - jumping and screaming and rolling on the floor, because my other rl friend called me to say she’s up to season 2 of Natsume Yuujinchou
I am so grotesquely happy right now you have no idea
